From Galiot to Maslot, our Charlevoix story

Maslot has been part of Charlevoix construction since 2007. The shop has changed banners, but the people, the trucks and the fleet have stayed in the region the whole time.

From Galiot to Maslot, our Charlevoix story

2007, founded as Location Galiot

Christian Pouliot starts the shop with one location and a focused fleet of construction rentals.
Acquisition of Gestion Tandem

Gilles Tremblay and his son Antoine acquire Gestion Tandem (Joe-loue-tout), joining the operation and expanding the catalog.
2018, reorganized as Location Maslot

The Tremblay family reorganizes under the name Location Maslot inc., with Gilles and his sons Samuel and Antoine running the business.
Lou-Tec years, 2018 to 2020

Both locations operate as part of the Lou-Tec network, gaining access to a larger catalog while staying locally owned.
2020, independent under Maslot

The Tremblays step out of the Lou-Tec banner, marking a turning point toward full business autonomy as Maslot.
Today, a Tremblay family business

Samuel and Antoine Tremblay are the sole shareholders. Two locations across Charlevoix, a local team, and a fleet of nearly six hundred tools and machines on the shelf.
